This year’s conference, Fuel Cells: The New Generation of Green Power,( November 16-19th in Palms Springs, Ca) will expand on the conference’s mission to advance the global energy, environmental, and economic benefits offered by fuel cell technology. Through our extensive technical program and exciting exposition featuring international partners, the FCS&E showcases the importance of fuel cells in the development of energy strategies that reduce or eliminate greenhouse gas and criteria pollutant emissions.
The 2009 technical program will feature four parallel tracks that cover all aspects of fuel cell R&D, applications, and commercialization. The high temperature fuel cell track will include sessions on solid oxide fuel cells, molten carbonate and direct carbon fuel cells, and fuel processing. The low temperature fuel cell track offers topics on global perspectives, fuel cell testing and modeling, and hydrogen research and development. Our third track will focus on the broad range of fuel cell applications including transportation, stationary, and portable power systems. The final track will cover emerging markets, economic considerations, government incentive programs, as well as manufacturing advancements.
With exhibitors from Canada, Finland, Germany, the UK, Denmark, Taiwan, Greece, and Japan, the 2009 Exposition will certainly provide attendees with a global perspective on the market. The exposition allows attendees to touch real fuel cell systems and components and it provides the opportunity to network with leaders of the international fuel cell industry.
Attendees will also continue to enjoy several of the educational opportunities, for which The Seminar & Exposition has become known, including technical poster presentations and short courses. Back this year is the popular Women in Fuel Cells Luncheon, which celebrates women who demonstrate excellence within the fuel cell community and provides a unique networking opportunity. And don’t forget about our FCS&E Ride & Drive in which YOU can drive the latest models of fuel cell vehicles. Be sure to get in line early for this popular event! Networking is one of the essential missions of the FCS&E.
